Malnutrition is one of those chronic crises we only hear about during acute emergencies. Yet its devastating consequences are felt every day by millions of children around the world.

In early childhood, the lack of essential nutrients can permanently stunt growth and severely increase the risk of disease and death.

The Rescue and Recover Fund supports strategic projects in countries experiencing food insecurity, in partnership with Doctors Without Borders, CARE and the Red Cross.

In Mali, Doctors Without Borders is working to prevent and reduce the most severe forms of malnutrition

In Niger, the Red Cross is battling malnutrition by boosting community resilience.

In Cameroon, CARE is working to mitigate  the impacts of climate shocks and improve food security.
