BNP Paribas endowment fund

The BNP Paribas Endowment Fund supported the actions of CARE and the Red Cross in response to the torrential rains that severely affected the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. In just two days, the rains equalled the volume of an entire monsoon season, causing flash floods, floods, landslides and destruction of local infrastructure (buildings, roads...). 6,000 people were reported missing, 500,000 were directly affected. After assessing the damage and the actions to be implemented, the partner associations took care of the victims and responded to their immediate needs.
